Western Kentucky University’s Campus Activities Board announced Dierks Bentley will return to the Hill in October.
Bentley performed at the Bowling Green campus in 2006 with Miranda Lambert and the Randy Rogers Band. On Oct. 18, the country artist will be accompanied by Jon Pardi, Ashley Ray and Natalie Stovall.
Pardi’s single “Missin’ You Crazy” was released in April. Ray released an EP in 2010. Stovall released albums in 2006 and 2010.
Bentley is known for a number of hits including “5-1-5-0″ and “Home.” Other hits include “What Was I Thinkin” and “Am I the Only One.”
“Red, White, and WKU” is the theme for Homecoming 2012 activities Oct. 15-21. The concert will be a part of Homecoming Week at WKU. The Hilltopper football team will take on Louisiana-Monroe in the Homecoming football game at 3 p.m. CT Oct. 20 at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
