The Student Government Association of WKU invited campus officials, local leaders and members of the Kentucky General Assembly to Bowling Green to dine with students.
The annual event is called Dine with Decision Makers. The Student Government Association created the event in 2009 to foster discussion between college students and elected officials.
This year’s group included two state executives, five state legislators, three mayors, one city commissioner and three campus officials.
The Student Government Association also plans to send a delegation to Frankfort for the Rally for Higher Education on Feb. 7.
